The hotel’s big rectangular pool is set in a sun-trap terrace and garden lined with loungers. It’s just footsteps from the beach when you want to swap poolside for seaside.
The laid back atmosphere of Santo Tomas means that it won’t take you long to get in the holiday mood. The 3km spotless stretch of beach here is the longest in Menorca, with turquoise colour crystal clear that water will stay long in your memory. The beach is only a few steps from the hotel and has water sports ready and waiting too if you feel like being a bit more active.
For those who prefer to keep their tan topped poolside, the Globales Lord Nelson has a large terrace and garden with plenty of sun loungers that surrounds the hotel’s pool. Each day the hotel’s entertainment team organise games and activities that are centered around the pool for you to join in like water polo and aqua gym, as well the likes of archery and volleyball.
New for Summer’16 there will be a slick gym so you keep your fitness on track whilst on away as well as a Spa to treat yourself to a relaxing massage.
In the evenings, in the hotels funky main bar there enjoy professional cabaret shows as well as quizzes and karaoke. If you want to venture out of the hotel in the evening, Santa Tomos’s main street has a fine selection of bars and restaurants.
For a day out, the island capital Mahon is less than a while and can be accessed by public transport nearby the hotel. Watch the world go by at the Plaça de S’Esplanada, enjoy a long lazy lunch habour-side or explore the city’s rich history and architecture.
